Kent's Floral Gallery has served the Columbia, Mo. community for more than 20 years. Kent Anderson is the owner of the floral shop where they sell wide variety flower arrangements sourced from local farmers. Anderson's shop is an integral part of the Columbia community. The majority of their flowers come from Simon and Ida Miller's flower farm in Clark, Mo. The Miller's are an Amish family who used to operate a vegetable farm but now only sell flowers to florists across Missouri. This photo essay documents the production, creation and sale of the flower arrangements inside of Kent's Floral Gallery. This story was published by VOX Magazine on May 14, 2022.
